Okay. . that's all I needed to say right? I love this Zimmerman bikini - I absolutely love it, and the girls hair. . . the jewelry everything about it.

So I am running an extra THREE miles today . . okay, well maybe an extra TWO. . but still.

I love the idea of wearing jewelry with swimsuits and coverups and all that fun summer stuff.

{Maybe this enthusiasm has to do with the idea of sun while it's only 30 degrees here in the mornings}

Our First Lady

I'm a republican. . . but whatever party your with - you just cant help but just LOVE the first lady. She's beautiful, smart, and a mom. . . and she has so much style! She is teaching us that moms,career women, busy women like all of us are - can have a look all our own.

The next Jackie O. ? Maybe - but with her own take on it - and with so much for us to look forward to - I can't WAIT to see what she wears ~ and what she says next. I think I'm just a little bit taken with all the Obama's.

And PEARLS are now the new thing to talk about on the Hill!

Ruffles are making a comeback girls! Just like all things Lovely. . and I love this dress too!

I'm In Love. .

Yep - I'm one of those who is just in love with Victoria Beckham. . . and if she'd gain about 15 pounds I'd love her even more! But I don't care what others say - I think she is "over the top" and adorable. . .

(And personally - no tummy will be showing - but the model in the picture gives me the motivation to keep working out!)

I guess I love the simplicity of this - you can do everything in these outfits - and you really don't have to pay the $200 for her jeans - I've found lots of places you can buy black or white denim. The Gap is, for me, always the best place to start for quality,simple great denim.

And now for the accessories. .

Just simple bangles. .silver or gold. . both would do just the trick!

Date Night

FINALLY - my husband and I are going on Date Night!

No kids. . . Mississippi Ave. . . and a wonderful person to enjoy it all with. And a new outfit! I'm so excited. . .

Boots Made for Walking. . or just looking really great!

I try it invest in a great pair of boots a winter. . and this year I haven’t. . I think I’m going for something chocolate brown – and not dressy. . maybe even looking a little tough? A Dress for every hour of the day. .

My life feels like its craziness sometimes. . .I'm rushing everywhere and by the time I sit down it's like 11:30pm. But whose life isn't like that? Don't let me whine too long! :)

So I started looking for clothes that I could wear litterally all day. . so even my husband would get to take a look at me not in sweats or something of that sort. .

I absolutely love these and after I'd purchased a "shirt dress" in black and khacki I am now a fan. . and my husband might be too becuase he doesn't miss the sweats.

Our Event. . .

As I was posting on the "Girls Night In" blog . . I realized I probably should get pics on here of some of the jewelry I'll bring.
I don't make the jewelry - no - I buy it from vendors I trust. After some trial and error I've found some that the quality is very good - and I personally LOVE all the pieces that I buy. ..so if you don't buy it - you'll see me wearing it!

I'm into the Big Accessory Movement right now - I love rhinestones and cuffs and everything that can be worn with kids - and to work, and noticeable. I really try to buy things that I think we all can wear not just with one outfit - but MANY. And don't worry - nothing will break the bank - so you can still afford the outfit after you have the accessories.

You'll see in later posts I try to piece things together with clothes or outfits I have - or I want to have ~ so please let me know if you have any suggestions or comments or questions!

A New Day. .

Ok – so I’m one of the moms who DOES shop at Forever 21. Who doesn’t? It’s great for basics and even some of those pieces I’m not going to pay a lot for to risk looking like an idiot.

And the sad thing is – I usually take my ELEVEN year old to see what looks good on me! (Lucky for me she’s honest – I found out I should NOT be wearing skinny jeans!)

BUT – yesterday I was in there and found a great outfit for office to night out with the girls!
